The problem with covert narcissitic abuse is nobody understands the victim because the narcissist has two faces. The face she shows to the world, and the face only the abused can see, feel and understand. Whatever the culture is, the victim of narcissistic abuse is also victimized by people (and society) who do not appreciate the mental and emotional toll on the sufferer.

I have a narcissistic parent, this feels like a breath of fresh air. Iba talaga ang takbo ng utak nila, for some reason kahit anong sabihin mo it won't register, to them sila palagi yung tama and they have this protagonist view na sila yung bida and all attention always has to be on them. and if they feel like they would lose the argument, mag jedi moves and would switch the conversation na sila ang victim. Like wtf.

nakakarelate ako dito Maam Ruth. narcissistic ung mother ni Yulo.. wala na syang "control" sa anak nya kaya ung perception ng tao sa anak nya ang gusto nya controlin. kaya nga pinubliko nya ung family issue na hindi naman dapat diba. gusto nya iportray sa public na sya ung "victim" at ung anak nya ung at fault - which is not the case. ganyan ang mga narcissist - ayaw nila malawan ng control sa mga tao. PInakadabest to deal with narcissists is putulin ang communication once and for all. PS. Marami pa din talaga ang mga taong ignorante sa damage na nagagawa ng mga narcissists sa buhay ng ibang tao. napakatindi ng abuso ng ginagawa nila. worst manipulators. they'll pretend to reconcile, pero ang totoo ginagawa lng nila un para ibaba ng victim ang guard nya. Kaya naiinis ako sa mga taong pumapanig sa nanay ni yulo haha..
